HEAT UNTIL THERE IS AN EVEN COLOUR CHANGE.
ADD 1/4 CUP MILK AND BRING TO THE BOIL.
STRAIN AND SERVE, ADD SUGAR/HONEY TO TASTE. ENJOY!

TIPS & TRICKS
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS FOR CAFÉ & HOME USE
• IF USING A LARGER THAN 250ML CUP, PLEASE ADD EXTRA CHAI FOR THAT WARMING SPICY FLAVOUR TO REALLY SHINE.
• AS NELA'S CHAI IS AUTHENTICALLY INDIAN & HAS THE BALANCE OF SPICES JUST RIGHT, NO EXTRA CINNAMON IS NEEDED HOWEVER MAY BE SPRINKLED ON TOP FOR GARNISH.
• CHAI IS TRADITIONALLY VERY HOT. MILK SHOULD BE HOTTER THAN IF YOU WERE MAKING A COFFEE.
• BLACK CHAI - LOOSE LEAF CHAI AND CHAI CONCENTRATES CAN BE MADE BY REPLACING MILK WITH MORE WATER.
• WATER AND MILK PROPORTIONS CAN BE VARIED ACCORDING TO TASTE
• ADDITIONAL FLAVOURS TO TRY ADDING TO LOOSE LEAF CHAI: FRESHLY GRATED GINGER, MINT, LEMONGRASS OR A FEW MORE TEA LEAVES FOR A STRONGER TEA TASTE WHEN BREWING THE CHAI BEFORE ADDING THE MILK.
